There are Big fish like these here on the Sea of Cortez at Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mx.. Known to most Americans as Rocky Point, a short 4 hr drive south of Phoenix or Tucson, AZ. Check out the beautiful calm seas. I've had clients comment that fishing here is some of "the best anywhere". Captain Pancho on the boat Caballo del Mar headed out just 22 miles off shore for these big ones. He'll use his favorite and somewhat secreative GPS numbers to bring in a good catch. Grouper fish, the most sought after, while White Sea Bass, Pinto Bass and Sardinero rank high on the list.
